Camp Eureka is a week-long engineering camp hosted by our club during school breaks and intercession. The purpose of Camp Eureka is to spread science and technology information throughout the community and help our club fund-raise for trips and parts. During camp, your child will be placed in a group with one or two other students and mentored by one of the club members. This style of teaching provides as one on one interaction as possible between our teachers and students and helps to make all of our camps very educational and enjoyable.
Fall Camp Eureka
Learn about the two basic processes for building a robot!
In previous years, we held camps based around the two most popular youth robotics competitions: VexIQ and FLL (FIRST Lego League). However, we prepared new curriculums this summer to refocus our camps towards new engineering principals. Earlier this summer, we hosted a camp focused on engineering concepts. This upcoming summer camp will be focused on programming and robot building.
